We believe feeling Special is a Necessity! This company is a multiyear journey that started as one Mom's mission to design, create, and improve products for our special needs child.
The website was a way for us to share some of the things I have designed and made for our son who has Cerebral Palsy. I get such joy from making things that really make a child who feels different feel special. A lot of our products began as a way to adddress a functional issue we have dealt with, but many address a child’s need to be a child.
We use various character print materials to create strap covers, lateral covers, chair pads, zipper pulls and various other items because we think special needs kids deserve the ability to have those things just as much as everyone else! While they may not be able to wear the newest Spiderman® or Superman® shoes (because they probably won't fit over their braces, or they don't lace right for their feet) they can have something made for them with their favorite characters print material to complement their style!
We are also using this site to share other handmade products with you. We have handmade baby blankets, "couch" blankets, "Words of Wisdom" books, and many other things we have noticed over the years accomplish our ultimate goal: Making people feel special!
